For my princess, I wanted a card that she would just love. I think I accomplished that with this little doll ... :)
The entire creation (with the exception of the background embossing, flowers, butterfly, and bling) was done on the Cricut using Cricut Design Studio and the Paper Dolls Dress Up cartridge. All of the paper is from SU. The doll was cut at around 4 inches with all of the layers done proportionately. The castle was cut to fit as big as possible (while keeping proportions) on a 4x5 1/2 inch card. The backgrounds were embossed with the Cuttlebug. The butterfly was a scrap piece of chipboard from a stencil my daughter was using for her Valentines. :) The flowers came from Hobby Lobby and are put on pop dots for dimension. Some self-adhesive crystals were used on the crown, and some self-adhesive pearls were used on the dress. My Gelly Roll clear glitter pen (LOVE that sweet little jewel!!) was used to bling up the crown and to place flowers on the dress. It was even used to add a little bling to the butterfly.
Paper piecing can be tedious to me, but with pieces this large, it was actually pretty fun.
Can't wait to hear what you think! :) I really should have made the card a castle-shaped card.....
Have a great night and a great, big, beautiful tomorrow.
