I bought this adorable stamp on clearance at Hobby Lobby a couple of months ago. I've not picked him up until now, but what fun he is!
The background layer was distressed by crumpling and using a blade on the edges. I curled the edges in a little after sewing the layers together. Even the star is sewn.
The coloring of this image was a BLAST!! So much shading and opportunity for lighting effects. Great image.
