Bonzai!

Have you tried Flower Soft???? Very cool stuff. I didn't have the glue that goes with it, but I managed with some other stuff. What a neat effect this stuff has on a card, though.

Using the Asian Plants set from CDS, this card was created for another birthday. The scalloped circles were cut using the Cricut. After stamping and coloring the tree, I put a little dab of glue in each spot that I wanted to add the Flower Soft. Then, I carefully added it to the image. I would have loved to have had some green to put at the base of the tree to simulate moss, but I only have the lavendar at this point. :)

Copics. Wow. I'm having such a great time learning how to work with these wonderful creations. The image on tis card was colored using the methods Marianne talks about in her tutorias and on her blog. She's just awesome about explaining how to shade and color. I don't have it down yet .... hmmmmm .... I think I need to go practice some more. :)

Stamps - Asian Plants (CDS), Small Script (SU)
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black, VersaMark
Paper - GP white, SU all other
Accessories - Cricut, Copics, Oval Punch (SU), Flower Soft, 3D Glue Dots, Martha Stewart glue pad refill.

Hope you had a great weekend and that you have a great, big, beautiful tomorrow.
