Shell's Stuff

Several years ago - I can't even tell you when, I bought some clear stamps. These stamps, though, aren't like other clear stamps. These are clear on clear blocks, but they are permanently mounted on the clear blocks. They are fun to use, but I have no idea where they came from. They are uber cute, though!!

They were probably bought at Michael's, but who knows?! :)











I stamped this image a while back and colored it. I love the way it came out, but didn't have time to put the image on a card. I couldn't figure out just what would make this into a good card. I think I finally found it!! :)

Night of Navy cardstock is mounted behind the image layer and a layer of Creamy Caramel makes the card front. It is embossed with the Distressed Stripes Cuttlebug folder, and VersaMark was rubbed over the embossed stripes. Linen thread was used to embellish the image.

All coloring was done with the Copics.

SU buttons were added to the bottom to add a home-spun feel to the card.




I can't wait to hear what you have to say about this one. I'm very pleased with how it came out and with the coloring.
