A Card for Comfort

Recently, a member of the Clear Dollar Stamps Design Team asked for cards and prayers for a co-worker of her husband.

Using CDS stamps, I created a pretty quick card to send her way. The sentiment is from the set Christian Sympathy. No, this isn't a 'sympathy' situation, but I thought this sentiment was appropriate for the situation.

The Asian Plants set is very comforting to me, so I chose that one to start with. The plant was colored with Copics ... of course. I love the shading effects that can be done with them.

The background is embossed with the script folder. The shapes were cut using the Cricut and SCAL.

Recipe:

Stamps - Asian Plants, Christian Sympathy (both CDS)
Paper - ruby, gray, white
Ink - ruby, black
Copics - G21, G24, G94, G99, E08, E09, E33, C3, C5, R81
Accessories/Tools - Cricut, SCAL, Cuttlebug, folder, ribbon, pop dots, sponge dauber

Have a magical Monday and a great, big, beautiful tomorrow!
