February Challenge

Our Group 2 February Challenge came this week, so I got on it as soon as I could. What a fun one, too! We had to create a card using *all* of the elements sent to us this month. We were allowed to change the items or add to them, but NO STAMPING was allowed at all.




The 'Just Because' was embossed, and the paper it was on was cut down a bit. White craft ink (SU) was rubbed on top to highlight the embossing and to make it look a little like paint. The same was done to the butterfly, but it was cut completely out, and a little bling was added to the wings. It was also adhered using pop dots. Behind the 'just because' layer is a layer of basic gray (SU) and 3 brown Prima flowers embellish the bottom corner. The larger pink layer was embossed with the Cuttlebug, and a few little crystals were added here and there.









The ribbon included with the challenge was used at the junction of the embossed layer and the designer paper. Three more brown Primas were added on the ribbon. Other little crystals make the middles of the Primas and adorn the patterned paper.








This was a tough challenge, but I'm pretty pleased with how it came out. I'd love to hear your thoughts! :)
