Fall Thank You
The fall challenges for VSN inspired me to create several cards. I think this one might be my favorite of them all.
This one uses Fall Whimsey, Weathered, Canvas, Beyond Basics (I think?), and the Dry Brush wheel. The top background has the leaf and the swirl stamped in Versamark and Close to Cocoa directly applied to the edges to give it the distressed/burned look. The lower background started with Weathered. On top of that at the bottom, I stamped the circles in garden green. White craft ink was used with the dry brush wheel on top of all of that. I wiped it off a bit so that the white didn't overwhelm the other parts of the background. The round tab punch embellishes both sides of that background and is stamped with the swirl in garden green. The pumpkin in colored with WWC and the aquapainter and over-stamped with the canvas background. Behind the pumpkin is some of the rustic looking linen thread. This was a fun card to create, and hopefully, the recipient will find it to be a fun card to receive.
We have family fun day tomorrow, so I probably won't get to create much. Oh well. I love spending time with my family!!!
Have a great night and a great, big, beautiful tomorrow!!!
