It's once again time for the Clear Dollar Stamps Monthly Blog Hop! Hopefully, you came here from Barb's wonderful blog. If you just happened upon my blog today, please enjoy my submission for our hop. And, after you've commented (there's a chance for a prize!!!), head over to Clearly iStamp to see the list and get started on this great blog hop!
So .... what's black, white, and red all over? I thought about a zebra with a rash or ... yeah, never mind. :) Here's what I came up with.....
A little distressing helped give the main image a little more interesting.
I used some distressing to give a little texture, as well as the grunge board embossed heart and key, lace ribbon, and crochet flowers.
Card Recipe -
stamps - John 3:16 Valentine
paper - cherry go round, black, white
ink - black
accessories - lace, nesties, cuttlebug, crocheted flowers (handmade), ribbon, grungeboard (heart, key), Vagabond, embossing folder, pearls, pop dots
Please, leave a comment while you're here, and when you're finished, head over to Tameko's blog to see her amazing work. If you need to start back at the beginning, make your way to Clearly iStamp. You'll also find all of the details for the blog hop prizes over there. The more you comment, the more chances you have to win!! :)
*** Special Note .....
Ecclesiastes 3:1 says, "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven."
Today is bittersweet for me. This is my last post as a member of the Clear Dollar Stamps' design team. The Lord has some amazing things on the horizon for me, and I'm excited about each and every one. Removing the design team work from my life is not what I want, but it IS what He wants.
This team has been an amazing source of inspiration, encouragement, and joy. I am SO blessed to have had this opportunity for almost 2 years. The team has been comprised by some of the most amazing, beautiful people in the crafting world. To each of you, I say "thank you ..... Thank you for your tolerance of my lack of skills and talent. Thank you for your encouragement along the way. Thank you for the amazing inspiration you've given me, and thank you for the blessing of your beautiful friendships."
Enjoy this wonderful Sunday and have a great, big, beautiful tomorrow!
