There are about 12 birthdays in our deacon families within the next few months. So, I decided to whip out as many as possible during the last few days. This is the first 'girl' card that I got done, and I decided to follow the same layout and general idea for all of the others.

The back layer is embossed with a folder that came as a combo pack. It works great for the edges of a celebration card. Used on the edges of the sentiment layer, it works well, too. Small, adhesive-backed crystals add the bling n the card. Scalloped circles were cut using the Cricut and Design Studio.

The cupcake layer is adhered with 3D glue dots so that it sticks out just a tad. Copics were used to color the cupcake on GP white paper.

The birthday sentiment looks really festive with the embossed confetti on it. I think it adds a lot to the layer. Again, the candle is colored with Copics.
